Integrative Mental Health Treatment in Idaho
Bridging the gap between quality psychotherapy and safe, effective, and competent prescribing
Welcome to my practice:
I’m Dr. Patrick Bartos, a licensed clinical psychologist with advanced training in clinical psychopharmacology. As a provisional prescribing psychologist, I offer a unique, integrative approach to mental health—blending the deeper, relational components of therapy with thoughtful and evidence-based medication management. My practice is rooted in compassion, collaboration, and respect for each person’s individual journey. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, or life transitions, my goal is to create a supportive space where meaningful change can take root.
I believe your mental health treatment should be tailored to you rather than your symptoms or a diagnosis.
What sets my approach apart is the foundation of over 20 years of experience as a practicing therapist. This background allows me to engage with my medication management clients in a much deeper and more comprehensive way than traditional prescribers. Rather than brief, checklist-driven appointments that narrowly focus on symptoms, I take the time to truly understand each individual—their strengths, values, unique struggles, and goals.
The initial evaluation I provide is intentionally thorough and collaborative. I believe that medication can be a helpful tool, but it is most effective when considered within the full context of a person’s life. This means we explore not only potential pharmacological options, but also psychosocial interventions, lifestyle factors, and therapeutic strategies that support long-term well-being. My goal is to provide care that is meaningful, holistic, and grounded in a genuine therapeutic relationship.
Medication Management
As a provisional prescribing psychologist I prescribe medications for the treatment of mental health conditions.
Integrated Psychotherapy + Medication Management
As a clinical psychologist I provide psychotherapy alongside medication management for an integrative mental health experience.
Supervision, Consultation, and Training
As an educator I provide supervision, consultation, and training for other mental health and medical providers.
Your mental health journey shouldn’t be confusing. Here’s how we’ll work together.
STEP 1- Initial Consultation
A free 15 minute conversation to determine if we are a good fit.
STEP 2- Comprehensive Initial Evaluation
Collect paperwork. Meet for an initial 75 to 90 minute assessment. Discuss treatment options and formulate a treatment plan.
STEP 3- Treatment
Depending on your needs we then initiate either Medication Management or Integrated Psychotherapy + Medication Management.
